Dr. Paul Shapiro 3087 FUT grafts on Class III Vertex Patient. One year post op
This 49 year old male has fine brown hair. He had a good donor density of about 95
FU/sq.cm and an average scalp laxity. My plan was to cover the frontal temporal angles, and the crown and reinforce the hair in the central core. I estimated I would need 3,000 FU for this case. Posterior trichophytic closure was done. I do not have any post op photos of the donor scar. We did not take any pre-op photos of the crown from the front, but the top photos give an idea of what the crown looked like pre-op
His hair count was as follows:
· 820 one hair FU
· 1645 two hair FU
· 565 three hair FU
· 57 four hair FU
Total FU-3087, Total hairs- 6033
