Dodger!! ¬b`

You are awesome! You don't know how many patients who say they'll update but end up getting too busy. Not that I don't understand busy lives and patients going about their normal life.... I must sound like a broken record to you but want to thank you again on behalf of all of us at SMG. It's sooooooo appreciated.

We wouldn't expect you to see much change from month 9 to month 11 or 12. I believe you will notice more improvement in the next few months, even through months 15 and 16 but it will be in the overall hair texture when you run your hand through your hair and likely not so noticeable in pictures. Having said that, we'd still like pictures...lol. Thanks!

I've had a couple of potential patients contact me and ask me whether I thought that I had lost any of my transplanted hairs with the FUE procedure. And although there is absolutely no way to tell, I can honestly say that I don't think I lost very many (if any) at all. Please feel free to comment or ask me any questions. See you next month!
This is interesting because patients certainly don't like seeing the transplanted hairs shed then wait for new growth. We are getting more and more reports from patients that it's difficult for them to notice the transplanted hairs shedding during the normal 10 days to 2 months post op. The holding solution we are using for grafts may be the answer to why patients shed less these days.

Hey Janna,

Sorry for the confusion, I need to clarify my last post. What I really meant to say was that I believe that most (if not all) of my graphs that were transplanted have survived. But, like most patients, I did however initially shed the transplanted hairs about 2 to 3 weeks post op. After reading your comment I realized my post was a little confusing and misleading. Hope this helps to explain...

Doh! ;;D - so you're referring to yield and not shedding of tranplanted hairs. Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.
