I took the plunge and underwent my transplant surgery in February 2024.
I have been waiting for years to undertake the surgery, but had never had the strength to follow it through.
My biggest concern was who to choose? I had done numerous consultations in London, but finally decided to go with Dr Spammer in Istanbul.
Yes the price was a factor, but that was not the driving force. Dr Spammer is well known for having a raft of celebrities of which a fair few are high profile professional footballers. For these individuals, money is of no object. So they had chosen Dr Spammer on other factors and not financial.
I am now 6 months on and am overjoyed with the results of the surgery. I chose to have the DHI surgery with Plasma Rich Platelets as an additional treatment. I have had PRP treatment for tennis elbow and know that it works wonders for healing. So, it was a no brainer to tack it on when it was given as an optional extra. I personally think that it was very effective and am looking at topping up later this year.
I also chose to have the surgery (well the first hour or so) under sedation. I am not keen on too much pain and this was a perfect solution. I can categorically state that I did not feel even the slightest pain.
If my experience is anything to go by I would highly recommend Dr Spammer and his team.
