Dear HLE members,
Dr Ted Hair Transplants are pleased to present this FUE/FUT combination surgery. Our 45 year old patient presented as approximately a NW6 underwent a 5,248 graft procedure to frame his face and achieve as much coverage as possible in a single surgery. The surgery was carried out over two consecutive days.
3,123 grafts were harvested via FUT and 2,125 grafts via FUE. In total, 14,481 hairs were transplanted with a HPG ratio of 2.76. Despite the favourable HPG ratio, the patient has very straight, finer hair, which offers less coverage value than patients with naturally thicker, coarser, wavy hair. Despite this, we're delighted with the level of coverage and naturalness achieved.
The patient takes 1mg oral finasteride daily to support his native and transplanted hair. Photos below.
