The cost savings going to Turkey are quite significant compared to the European clinics.
Is it worth going to Turkey in the current climate?

Only you can answer the question of pros and cons with the "current climate" in Turkey. The country is still in a state of flux with regards to the government coupled with the random acts of violence seen before the attempted coup. You should view the embassy website for your country in Turkey to see what they say about travel to Turkey.

For Americans, unnecessary travel is not recommended.

On the plus side, if you're a bargain hunter, I'm sure flights to Turkey are cheaper than ever and maybe some clinics are dropping their prices even further to make up for the security jitters.

I think the European side is quite stable, although the clinics I`m considering pick you up at airport and straight to clinic or hotel. It should be sage enough if I don`t go wandering in unchartered territory.

Joe has given some good advice. When I was in Turkey last year I felt safe enough and had no concerns. You need to weight up what you've read and make your own choice. Personally I'd go back.

I an certain if you search hard enough there are below average clinics in every country.
Turkey has some excellent clinics. You will need to sort through the hype.
