Example of how Finasteride can turn blond hair into brown

We have heared and seen very often from patients that are blond that after a while their hair colours changes being on finasteride for a longer period of time.
This is an extreme example of a patient who was blond and turned dark brown after using finasteride 2.5 years.He also had an FUE hair transplant at our clinic, 3000 grafts, 2.5 years ago.

Do you think there is a scientific explanation for this or is it just a weird phenomenon that can happen with taking Propecia?

Never heard of this before, have you asked other clinics if they've had this phenominum?

Not at all surprising. Dying hair in the later stages of MPB turns lighter in colour and shrinks. The logic would be the opposite would then happen in the other direction.

Add in a HT with hair from a different location and its obvious the hair would get darker.
