Anyone have any first hand experience of using one? Most fake hair looks like a dead rat on your head but Farrell do seem a little better than the rest..

Its a no from me.

I personally would not wear any type of wig as i`ve seen them damage the skin with the glue or whatever they use to stick it on.

Hi Zionaxel

I really thought that farrell hair systems must be good, after I saw all the testimonials and adverts.

They even said that their systems are the most cost efficient, and that they would last several years.

So I agreed on getting one. It cost me £4000 and I had to wait over a month. Within the first days it looked pretty good. But it didn't feel good on my skin. I thought this might be the ONLY downside of the system and that I have to live with it in order to look good. However a few weeks after I received the system the hair started to look a bit dull and after about two months it looked like a half dead weasel on my head. I then tried everything with different conditioners to increase and restore the quality of the hair. But after 4 months it was unbearable.

So basically it cost me £1000 per month. Simply a joke and ::;mb

So concluding:
It was expensive
it felt comfortable, itchy and hot
it did't look good for long.

I got so angry. Farrell Hair Systems are simply lying even though they always claim to be so honest. Just a joke!!

After trying different options I recently found Total Cover Plus Hair Replacement in London (http://www.totalcoverplus.co.uk) which I am using now. I am really happy with it.

In my opinion there are a few advantages:
- You don't feel that you are wearing it
- the quality is a lot better than with the farrell systems or any other system I tried as you get a new one every one to two month (I usually get a new one every 6-7weeks)
- it is a lot cheaper than farrell systems (only £269 per system)

Do yourself a favour and don't go for Farrel Hair Systems.

Oh and concerning the bond.

The people at Total Cover Plus had a EC certificate and a study that proved that the bond is not harmful in any way.

When I tried a system from Whitecliffs the bond they used was slightly painful and very uncomfortable. However the bond on my Total Cover Plus system is pretty gentle to my skin or in other words I never felt anything negative.

I was told that it technically seals my skin and therefore improves the scalp condition.

Hope it was helpful.
