Hard to believe it’s already been a year since my surgery.
I’ve been consistently on hair loss meds both before and after, and honestly I’m pretty happy with the results. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even need to use hair fibers on the top anymore.
Before the surgery, I made it clear to Dr. Hyun what my expectations were. My main goal was simply to cover the thinning area on the top, and density was secondary for me. Overall, I feel like the outcome matches what I was hoping for.
That said, I’ve always had naturally fine hair, so I’m thinking about adding Rogaine foam to my routine.
I’ve tried minoxidil a few times in the past, but I always struggled to stick with it long-term. It makes my hair feel greasy and sticky, which really kills my motivation to keep using it.
Anyone else deal with the same issue? Would love to hear tips or personal experiences.
