Fue growth rate

What is the growth rate for Fue? If at the 3 -6 month mark there is growth.. say 50% how long will it take before it makes a visible difference? I read an article somewhere that states Fue grafts take longer to grow than grafts obtained via the strip method.

FUE grafts do not grow slower compared the FUT grafts if they are properly handled.
You may want to kick start regrowth by using anti hair loss products.
Examples
  • Finasteride 1 mg per day + 5% minoxidil twice a day[/*]
  • Keratene Retard 2 tablets per day + Nanoxidil Spectral DNC-N twice a day.[/*]
You should be seeing a difference soon...

JimD do you still have this article and can you post it?

Do you remember what the logic was behind their argument for slower growth?

Was this a strip only clinic that wrote the article or a clinic not widely know for doing high end fue work?

Thanks for the chart Bverotti.
Topcat I don't recall where I read the growth rates, it just stuck in my mind.

I have had both strip and FUE and found no difference in the speed of growth between the two. Some people find Rogaine/minox helps speed up growth following a HT dude.

Thanks Bullitnut, maybe I'm getting confused with yield, there's so much information to take on board.

Hi,
Indeed it was a pleasure having you as a patient !

Try restarting Regain 2 weeks post treatment. If the skin remains calm you should continue. However if the redness increases due to the regaine than it is best to wait another 2 weeks just to give more time to the skin to heal.
