Hi i have only just joined today so go easy with me.I have been using minoxidil and finistride for about ten years now after visiting dr hugh rushton iam 39 now and my hair has definitly thinned and i think the only option is a hair transplant i contacted dr rushton and he advised me against and to visit him.But for the last ten years i have never been asked to visit for any check ups and dont know wether he is going to lead me down the garden path and can not afford to may be waste money. After reading through some of the forums they seem to be pointing in the direction of belgium, are there any good surgeons in the uk or would i have to go abroad any help would be very much appreciated.[ps i will try and upload some photos].

Hi Pablo and welcome.

Dr Rushton, is he a HT doctor or a tricologist. If i were you i would do some online consults with doctors on here and see if you can get some face to face consultations.

You`ve been on the meds a long time, are they working for you in slowing down your hairloss with you thinning and are you buying them from this doctor.

Cheers Bm.

Yes the doctor is a tricologist i think they have slowed my hairloss down but its hard to tell my brother who is seven years older has thicker hair and i dont think he is on anything.I was buying minoxidil off him but he said its was mixed with some other wonder drugs so I changed to the 5% but still purchase the proscar from him. sorry for the delay as i have to pick my time when i can get on line thanks for your responses.

Most doctors give free consultation if you can go to a few doctors to see what their opiinions are, then you can move forward with a procedure if you desire most people take their time researching because there are a lot great doctors performing hair transplant surgery at this time. There are also a variety of differnt procedures being performed which procedure are you interested in strip or fue?

Main reason of hair fall is pollution nowadays. There are many products which are manufactured for reducing hair fall but no product is effective to reduce it. The solution to reduce hair fall is transplantation of hair. If any one suffering for hair fall then can get help from our company our company provide better quality transplantation of hair then any other company.

FUE hair transplant is also known as follicular unit extraction. This is a relatively new method of hair transplantation that offers a less invasive means of harvesting hairs from the donor site.

I am not sure how new new is, but our clinic has been doing FUE hair restoration for nearly 9 years now, Full Time.

I do admit that only few have mastered FUE completely and the main reason being that FUE needs very experienced hands, meaning loads of routine and extremely good hand eye coordination.

Postpartum hair loss occurs during certain hormonal changes for a woman. Many women are shocked to discover how much their hair can start thinning after giving birth, but there are various treatments that help to combat thinning hair and return hair to its normal thickness.

FUE is a method of donor hair extraction by which individual follicular units are removed one-by-one and then transplanted to the recipient region.
One major drawback of this method is that the patient will be left with a linear scar on the back and sides of their head.

To ensure the best possible results, find a physician who practices FUE almost exclusively. I have come across several helpful websites such as forhair, baldtruthtalk, hairlossexperiences which are really helpful in the subject of hair transplant.

Most causes of hair loss, or male pattern baldness, which has been called the 'silent epidemic' are genetic. Male pattern baldness is the most common type of hair loss for men and will manifest itself with a receding hairline and thinning hair on the crown of the head.

Amen Pablo!

I was butchered by two other doctors over 4 procedures (the last 2 were attempted repairs by one of them.) If it wasn't for Dr. Umar I do not know how I would be today. He literally saved my life, which is why I'm putting the finishing touches on my journey with a second round in October.

I am definitely impartial, but for good reason. After dealing with two doctors, I can attest how damn good Dr. Umar is. Quite frankly he is the best.
