FUE in Budapest or DHI in Greece??

Hi guys, have been researching HT's for a long time now and I have just had some prices quoted to me by a couple clinics. I was set on an FUE procedure, but I came across DHI about a week ago and now I'm confused which one to go with as they're around the same price for 3,000 grafts.
I've seen DHI produce some excellent results by not using as many grafts as FUE, so I figure DHI is the better option as I might be getting more for my money.
Budapest - HairPalace (FUE)Greece - DHI Clinic in Lavrio
If anyone has been to either for treatment please let me know. I want to book asap, but just don't know lol
Is Greece safe to travel to? Any other suggestions?? :)

DHI cherry pick the 2, 3, 4 haired grafts.

Hairpalace. If I was going to Budapest it would be as a tourist not a health tourist.

Greece is perfectly safe!

If I were in your position I would research some of the Belgian Clinics that have results shown on here. They are reasonably priced for Fue.

It may be worth looking into HCD Clinic in Cyprus as well.

Thanks for the reply. I've decided to go with DHI as I've done some more research on their technique and it seems to be more advanced than the normal FUE method.

In saying that though, I have no idea if the small hole with the FUE technique is actually more beneficial than using no pre-made hole like DHI does with their own tool, just assuming lol

Going by this video there seems to be less trauma to the scalp though *nl

It would be a wise choice to avoid Hairpalace. I have never seen a documented case of their work.

You will get scarring from FUE, it is very minor and in the right hands it is barely noticeable. It is only an issue if you buzz your head with no hair visible. Do a google images search on fue scarring.

I would advise you do some research on FUE punch sizes. There is a big difference between a 0.8mm and 1.0mm punch.

Personally I wouldn't have a ht in budapest. Greece is safe to go to. I went there on holiday last year. The euro at the moment is very good to the pound, not sure what it is to the Australian dollar.

If you are going to go to DHI, who is your surgeon? That's my worry with these places, you have no idea who is going to be operating on your head? No reviews of the surgeon, it's a risk in my opinion.

In my opinion belgium and turkey are where the best fue surgeons are in the world, with turkey probably just edging it, it's also half the price aswell. Average 1-2.5 euro a graft. Have a look at dr keser, demirsoy and erdogan's work.

Hi Ryan
I have been researching for a while and am about to book a mega session for this Saturday. I have been in consultation with DHI since February in Glasgow and have been to another clinic here that only do strip, which totally put me off the whole thing until I came across DHI?
I definitely think this way is the more non evasive way (well I hope)
Wanted to see if anyone else has had any experience with DHI in Glasgow before I confirm? It's definitely confusing about the number of graphs and hairs etc and I guess I am depending on their professional honesty to do the best they can and give me the right amount of hairs, graphs etc. Just getting a little nervous the more I read and try to research?
I seen some of the posts and especially from beatlegeorge1 and he seems to have had great success from DHI in Greece?
Any feedback and help would be much appreciated
Cheers

Have a look at Erkan Demirsoy's work. 1.25 euros a graft. He's based in Istanbul.

Hi.
I have already had 3 hair transplantations, the most recently at PHAEYDE Clinic. My uncle, who also had his hair transplantations performed here, recommended the Clinic to me. My first 2 hair transplantations were performed by the FUT method, in the USA and Canada. I was on duty in Budapest and I visited the Clinic for a personal consultation. The hair on the top of my head needed to be densified. I am satisfied with the transplantation, I was also well able to conceal the donor area in the back after the procedure. I regret that previously my head was cut, I would never have that performed again. The most recently, 4,000 pieces of hair were transplanted with the S.H.E. (Single Hair Extraction) method. In my case, hairs could only be extracted from the 2 sides and the area of the neck, because of the scars. I am starting to see the result and I am very satisfied. The procedure left no marks, other than the pieces of hair. I am considering getting transplantations into the scars as well.
