fue into trico scar

If one was to put fue into a good trico scar would it be almost invisable?could a person buzz down to a #1 or #2 perhaps?i will have to get a strip at some stage in the future probably and im wondering would this work

It should work and providing its a good donor scar,not too many grafts will be needed.

Why hasnt anyone done it i wonder,never seen a photo once

I`ve had it done but the scar was a repair scar that was trico closed after my first HT with SMG.

I`ll try and take some pictures but it is really hard to see.

Hi Mars,

We have done a few procedures now of grafting into donor scars. The size of the donor scar will determine how many grafts it will take to cover it enough so that you cannot see the linear scar. It certainly can be done.

I've seen some of our strip scars be almost undetectible - quite difficult to find. I imagine if they wanted to they could FUE grafts so they can have the option to shave with #1 or zero guard. However, these patients are not bothered with their donor scars and would rather save the donor supply for the top of their head.
