FUE performed by Dr. Feriduni – 1929 FU in a single day session

Follicular Unit Transplantation performed on a 32 year old Caucasian male with:

- NW Class II ant class N-T
- Donor density of 92 FU/cm2
- Hair diameter of ~ 75 microns

Treatment plan:

A FUE procedure with 1800FU to reconstruct the hair line, central core and temporal peaks

Performed procedure (June 16th , 2011):

A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1929FU in a single day session:

* 617 single hair FU
* 911 double FU
* 401 triple hair FU

Extraction performed with a 0.9mm FUE punch with Versi handle „¢. No microscopic preparation of the single, double and triple follicular unit grafts;
Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.8mm €“ 0.9mm);

Reading back through the description, does the following mean no grafts had to be trimmed down "No microscopic preparation of the single, double and triple follicular unit grafts"

This is correct. Due to the fact that the units of this patient were already of good "implanting" quality, the microscopic preparation was not required as you can see on the attached picture of the double and triple follicular units.
