Healing is usually uncomfortable for a few days, not painful as you have meds for that.

BlueMonday it'll be good to hear how you are doing with a quick update.
Cheers Bm.

Hi BM,
Ok update as requested;

Couple days short of 7 weeks post fut op. Had full feeling back in donor area after 4 weeks, though still very slightly numb in recipient area.
The redness in the recipent area was an issue and is still slightly noticeable, I found using consealer covered it very well.
I rather stupidly decided on a hair cut after 4 weeks, he went too short in the donor area and left a kind of step to cover the scar, it looked ridiculous so I went to a Turkish barbers as they were the only ones open on a Sunday, they were great and really interested in my HT. They couldn't believe how neat my scar was, they had many friends and customers who had HT's and they showed me some pics, they said my scar was the best they have seen! Which was obviously great to hear. They made the step look a bit less steppy, though I had to do something as the scar was a little visible around the sides. So nanogen from boots to the rescue which covered it very nicely.
I'm well over the worst of it now, incredibly glad I had the HT and looking forward to the results, which I promise to post on here.

Great to hear things are coming along nicely dude....brace yourself though as your going to go through the worst part of the rollercoaster ride soon.....the waiting is a killer but keep the faith and try and take your mind of your hair.
Before you know it you will have a super new hairline and forget just how bad it used to be.

The surgery looks good and I hope you are happy with it which I am sure you will be but I would doubt greatly looking at these images that there are 2800 or 3300 grafts in this area.

Thanks Bullinut for the your encouraging words.

Hi Salvar, I'm glad you think the surgery looks good from the pics. I do kind of agree with you it is a lot of grafts for the area, though my thinning goes very high along the sides. Also I caught a glimpse of the clinics internal folder of me. Which had full pics before and after and 3300 grafts stated, clinic was excellent so got no reason to doubt them. Well I hope not.

Glad you are happy so far and got the dodgy haircut sorted, that first haircut is a difficult time, it'll be good if you got your graft breakdown and pictures from the clinic, I'll look forward to following your progress.
All the best.
