Hi every one, my name is Dylan I’m an actor
Based in Cape Town, my hair started thinning on the crown area about 7 years ago and just got progressively worse, I did a bit of research and eventually decided that turkey was my best option and I landed on a place called Hermest hair clinic. They were really great from the beginning and helped ease my nerves, the pre surgery was easy and well
Managed from the consultation to shaving of my head to producing the stem cells and injecting them, it all went smoothly. The actual procedure took quite long (around 7 hours) for
4400 grafts but it was mostly pain free due to anaesthetic, and all went well.
I’m now just over 40 days in and going through the shock loss phase, so I’m a bit patchy but hermest have been great post opp and have answered any questions or concerns I have. I asked if I could shave my hair for work they were concerned and said that I need to
Take precautions and have to use a guard bit eventually said it was fine. So I shaved a number one and so far no complications. I have been washing my hair every second day and am a few days away from using the serum that was recommended to me. All in all my journey has been a positive one and I look forward to the new hair growing in a couple months.
