Hair growth on Forehead with Finasteride

I have been on Finasteride for 12 months now, I`ve noticed hairs growing on my forehead above my eyebrows which weren`t there before. I`d say around 15 on each side, they dont grow as long as my eyebrow hair but are quite noticeable, I pluck them out once they reach a certain length. Has anyone else experiences hair growth in an area other than their scalp?

I don`t think I have any re-growth on my scalp although I do believe my hair loss has stabilized which is a good thing.

Hi there,
I've heard if Minoxidil growing hair on areas that was not intended, how noticeable are the hairs? Can you get by just plucking them out, any chance you can post some pictures?It's good to hear that the Fin is holding your existing hair.

Hi Bigmac, thanks for the response. Plucking them out is easy enough, I was just concerned that if it is the Finasteride causing unwanted hairs I may get more. I took a couple of pictures but you can't really see them unless it's super close up, then it's just pictures of hairs which doesn't really show anything.

Maybe just monitor them for now to see if any more pop up, if it is the Fin I guess you will have to keep plucking or maybe have them lasered out if you don't want to give up the Fin.

This is unusual but i suppose it's got to be a good thing as it shows it's working....i have heard a few people report they have seen fine hairs around their forehead and temple areas after using Saw Palmetto before and this is a DHT lowering product, so i assume your having similar results. I would pluck them too and feel positive if it were me dude as it's it seems to be doing its job.

Minoxidil gave me a fair bit of facial hair growth, since I applied to frontal regions it would easily drip onto forward if not careful.
