I am hoping to begin my hair transplant journey at the start of April.
I have shaved my head with a razor for 4 years, so strangely, I am anxious about having to grow my hair out post-transplant. My plan is to hopefully continue completely shaving my head until I am 12 months post-transplant, so I don’t have to go through the awkward thin hair phase.
Does anyone have any advice on:
1) how long after the fue transplant (4000 grafts using DHI method) will the swelling/redness and scabs go away so I look normal enough to go out in public?
2) how long after the transplant will I be able to cut with scissors (and ultimately shave my head) after the transplant?
3) how long after the transplant will I be able to shave the donor site?
Any tips or advice would be really really appreciated!
Thank you!
