Hair Transplant Surgery Advive

Hi,

I have a separate post about my hair loss journey which can be seen on a separate thread. I've been on Finistrade for about a year and Minoxidil for about 6 months. I've seen the improvements when I've used both these medications. I've decieded that I do want to go ahead an get a transplant.

I wanted to get some advice on what types of questions I should be asking surgeons, what types of things I should be looking out for?

I have received a few quotes already and I have a certain budget in mind which rules out going to any surgeon in the UK or some of the more reviewed surgeons on this forum.

Dr Serkan Aygin - FUE method and DHI process.I have read a lot of positive reviews although with most positive reviews not sure if I can fully trust them. When I read the negative reviews they all had similar things in common which they said the surgeon only had interactions with them when they first met and had the hair line drawn and was not seen after. I was quoted GBP2.8k for 3200 hair grafts

Dr Ilhan Serdaroglu - FUE method - have confirmed type of implant. I've been informed he does only one operation a day, his email was more detailed. I was quoted GBP1.8k for 1,800 grafts. I'm sure on further inspections more grafts maybe needed.

I've since received several more quotes.

Comedica - FUE method and DHI process. I have been advised that the senior nurse carries out opening the hair channels and the tecnician will call our the extraction and implanation. The surgeon only visits you in the initial consultation and drawing up the hair line. I was quoted GBP2.6k for around 3000 hair grafts.

Asmed - was offered several packages which start from Eur 1.9 assuming it's more junior staff and upto EUR3 for Dr Koray to carry out the procedure. several other packages have been offered up to EUR5 which are mostly for hair not being shaven.

From all the quotes I've received Dr Ilhan Serdaroglu really sticks out £1.8k for 1800-200 grafts, unlike the others he's only offered a lower number of grafts to be extracted even when i questioned this he advised it's not necessary to get further. I'll send further photos for further examination but i like the honestly of not trying to offer a more pricey package and the fact that he's involved in the surgery and that it's not run like a hair mill
