Hi All,
I want to present an interesting case of a young patient of only 21 years old who is class 6. Many times it has been said that HT is not suitable for such patients as there is no hope. Their destiny is to shave their head. This patient after consulting with his parents whose father has always been present in all discussions wanted to proceed with accepting low but natural density. So we started to make his dream of having hair coming true.
He had and has very realistic expectations and agreed to cover the bald area with low density so that the donor reserves would be handled as optimally as possible.
So we proceeded with a strip of 2500 grafts on 27/12/10, and we present his result 6 months post op.
He is proceeding in the next 6 months with a new combination surgery of another strip for about 2000 grafts + FUE for about 1800. The aim is to cover as much area as possible.
He is on both finastaride and minox.
