Head injury 4 months post op

Hi
I am approaching four months post transplant.
I hit my head against a weight lifting bar at the gym this week.
The accident scraped a thin layer of skin from my forehead.
I lost about 10 hairs as a result.
I’m wondering if I lost the bulb/root of the hairs as well or if they will grow back. The skin was red but there wasn’t much bleeding- perhaps a few spots if put a tissue to the area. It looks to me like a superficial wound but the impact tore the hairs out.

I contacted my clinic same day and they advised me to spray saline solution 0.9% on the wound frequently which I have been doing. It doesn’t hurt and is healing well. I am due for my review in 2 months so they will assess then.

Am I going to have a little bald patch here or will hairs regrow? It looks to me as though the whole hairs have been pulled out but hopefully not the roots - I just don’t know.

My scalp does feel a bit thin and flaky at moment. I’ve been using nizoral once a week

I was starting to feel really good about the regrowth and everything seemed to be on schedule.. then this happens….

Scraping a thin layer off will not cause you to lose any grafts.
