Hereditary male pattern baldness

The question that is bugging me is ...

Does your baldness have to follow your family history for instance, My farther has all his hair so does my brother and cousins and both grandfathers had receding hairlines but did not go fully bald and lived into there retirement age.

Does this mean I am more likely to just recede and not go fully bald this would help me on my decision on whether to take medication to prevent future loss . It would seem silly to put my self at risk of the side effects if I am not going to lose anymore after my transplant ?

Its a tough one, what i would do is have an in person consultation with a doctor and ask for a miniturization check to see if the hairs are getting weaker.

My close family history is Grandad bald, dad crown loss only, one older brother bald, another older brother with no hair loss and me with crown and frontal loss.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Its a funny old thing this MPB our lasses family has three brothers all in their 50s and one is bald, one has crown loss and the other(oldest) just minor temple recession. Probably best to get a miniturisation check as BM says dude:)
