How long after a hair transplant before I can have a hair cut?

I recently had a 3000 strip hair transplant (2 weeks ago). I grew my hair 2 inches in length to cover the staples after surgery, now I'm wanting to have it cut because it's beginning to look odd. I took 4 weeks leave from work to recover, the donor area looks good, recipient area is reddish, with some Toppik I can hide it and look relatively normal. How long do I need to wait before it's safe to have it cut? I want to look somewhat normal when I return to work.
Best Hf.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Congrats on your surgery, hope all went well.
You can get your hair cut any time after surgery, some clinics have a member of staff who cut hair the day after surgery. I think the norm is around 2 - 4 weeks after strip as that's when the staes are out and the patient feels a little more comfortable.

I got my wife to clipper with a #6 guard rather than face the barber. She did a good enough job that looks decent.
Thanks for your advice.
