How short can you wear your hair after a hair transplant?

I'm hoping someone here can help. I've read that a hair transplant can only recreate about a third of your natural hair density. That being so, does that mean that you can't wear your hair short after a transplant? To be more exact, if you were to shave your head to a gage 3, would the difference in density between your natural hair and your transplanted hair be visibly obvious, looking like two zones of hair rather than a seamless whole? (Note: I am assuming FUE so that there is no strip scar, and that the transplant is to restore a hairline rather than for diffuse thinning.)

You can keep short hair after the transplantation procedure. The density will not be obviously different but will be slightly less in the transplanted area. The absence of hair in the donor area will be visible. There will be microscopic scars that will not be visible to the naked eyes.

Thanks. That's what I wanted to know, as I'd like to be able to wear my hair short again after surgery. (I only wear it long at the moment in a vain attempt to hide the loss.)

I think it would only be noticeable under harsh lighting or bright sunshine. It says you do not see a difference until you lose more than 50% of your native hair. @Eugenix Hair Sciences do you have any examples from your patients who buzzed their hair after 12 months?

Make sure u have a matuer hairline and have fine singles at the front
And main thing make sure angles lay flat
