Ink under the skin after hair transplant

Hi. I had a hair transplant 3 months ago in Istanbul. And I have some black lines it looks like a tattoo. I believe it’s the ink the used to mark where the hairline should go and somehow it got under the skin? I contacted the clinic they said it’s normal and will go off. But it’s been 3 months already.
Did anybody have the same problem?
How to fix it?

I’ve never seen the ink last more than a few days. They should have used a medical skin marker pen. Which clinic did your surgery? Have you any immediate post op pictures showing the markings and placement?

The picture is blurry. Do you have any pictures from the clinic?

When the skin sheds any ink that is tough to remove should disappear because its on the surface layers. Your pictures would indicate the ink is under the skin, maybe a non medical marker was used.

Only in some places it somehow got under the skin. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

The clinic said it was normal, did they give you an idea how long it takes to go away? Has it faded at all in the last 3 months? Maybe it is SMP ink they used, those inks can last a long time.

They didn’t say how long. I don’t think it faded. I don’t see any difference

For me this is not normal at all. I would get back on to them and start asking what is going on, what they used etc and how to make it go

Could you try to take a clear close up picture of the area to confirm it is ink? Any luck having the clinic send over your immediate post op pictures?

Looks like it is slowly fading compared to an earlier picture

I haven’t really noticed any difference in the last 2 months. Maybe it’s not gonna fade anymore

A high resolution close up would be great if you can have someone take one for you.

what company did you use in Turkey?

Can you remember what they did to apply the line? Did they draw it on with something like a marker pen or use a needle or similar to make the black line? I assume it must have been done before anything else was started.

They used a black marker. I don’t have any more details about it

When a photo is taken from very close the line doesn’t look very noticeable but from a distance it is.

Also, another question, my hair is blond, some transplanted hair which are growing out are totally black. Is that normal?
