is BHT (NON BEARD) failue due to how the follicle lays

I was wondering I thin kI read a doc say somewhere that the reason why shoulder,back etc bht doesn't grow on the scalp because the follicle lays flat and is too difficult to extract in tact. is that true?

Commanderfink a similar question was posed to another forum. I believe and agree with others that not only is the viability of the extracted bodyhair follicle determined by the skill of the doctor but the location of where that bodyhair is extracted with beard and chest hair being the most viable. My own observations with my own body has shown that the farther away from the core of the body the weaker the hairs have become over time probably also making them less viable for extraction although not impossible. Then the issue becomes will those hairs if they can be extracted still be growing several years down the line. Below are some photos of my lower and upper leg hair at the age of 40 and 50. As you can see the thinning of those body hairs has been quite drastic while my chest, stomach, and beard hair is as strong as ever just much more grey. My lower legs can best be described as being bald.........lol........

Also good to note is that I do scar as evident by that gash off to the right of my thigh but I do not have any white dot scarring.
