Is it safe to take Minoxidil supplements to help cure hair loss?

I'm having hair loss. And I'm only 25 years old. My father (66yrs old) has thing hair but he is not bald or suffer from male pattern baldness. I'm planning to take minoxidil.

Only 25 years old? Careful with what you say on a hair loss forum, you had most of your youth with hair. Some of us started going bald before they reached adult age.

That said, you have to apply minoxidil on your scalp, not eat it.

Apply it to your head, if no irritation you need to use it for at least 6 months, good luck.

I prefer the foam too.....i always found the liquid was messy and i got irritation from it.

You may use minoxidil 5% foam twice daily supplied on the affected area in combination with light massaging. Will slow down your hairloss. Please note that Minoxidil results are temporary and exist for as long as the treatment is continued. If discontinued, the situation of the scalp returns to its original condition in 2-3 months. It is safe as long as you don't have any side affects such as itching, redness or irritation at the treated area. Then you will have to contact your doctor.
