Is this hair

After second HT I Started taking oral Finasteride and minoxidil about a month ago and these white hairs have appeared… anybody know if these will grow like real hair.

It’s funny you should post this,since my surgery in June with Farjo I have white hair coming through in crown.
Now I know it was the crown I had done,but these appeared a few weeks after,have not shed and are growing,whereas the black hairs are not showing yet( 3.5 mths).
Its a mystery,I don’t know it’s native hairs or TP hairs but positive they were not there before.
And I’m not on meds.

This was 4 weeks post op all the black hairs since shed but the white ones continued to grow

plus on youre side of the story a month is too soon for meds to be taking effect I think.

Definitely hairs growing there. Did you have any grafts placed in that area?

Any reason why you are not going the meditation path?
Also how did the crown work, work out, how many did he get on there .

yeah that whole area,so as you can see white hair no black yet.

Im only at 3.5 mths so too early,he put 2100 via DHI or whatever its called.
Whas a big area to fill so not expecting miracles but to just not have the disconnect between TP hair on top and native hair at back.
I tried Fin again last year after years off and within a month had really painful groin/pelvic area.
I would try Min again but too many stories saying it effects the heart and Im 54 now,tried ordering thru Boots and they wouldnt do it because of age.
I'll put a post on instead of hijacking Jonnys

I hear the crown takes longer to regrow.. still looking good though. And interesting to know about the minoxidil, I’ll keep monitoring myself, no odd symptoms as of yet. Be good to see how it all turns out .

Pretty exciting for you seeing this new growth. I have seen the meds work well for many guys.
