Hi All,
I'd like to share my exciting news of moving to the UK to work with Dr.Edward Ball to set up The Maitland Clinic.
When Dr. Edward Ball initially asked if I was up for a new challenge, I wasn't exactly sure. After all, I've been part of a clinic most consider to be a top renowned HT clinic for many years. In fact, I've been told many times that my name is synonymous with Shapiro medical (I guess working for a clinic for 20 years will do that). Dr. Ron Shapiro has been a great boss and I always thought if I were to work in UK it would be to set up a branch of Shapiro Medical. After some preliminary research as to this possibility years ago, SMG and I decided against it due to many challenging obstacles working abroad. I have SMG s full support in this new endeavour. I will continue to work for Shapiro Medical on a much smaller capacity as my main focus and energy will be on The Maitland Clinic.
Even though the decision was difficult at first to leave my family, friends, and a wonderful job, I knew that partnering with Dr. Ball to set up a top clinic in UK was a rare challenge I couldn't pass up. Dr. Ball is a really likeable person and I'm quite flattered and honoured to work along side him. I know that I m fortunate to work with another physician who is genuine and trustworthy with great skills and high standards for producing natural, quality results with happy patients. I've had to make several trips to the UK in the past 6 months and have met some of Dr. Ball's past patients, it confirmed that I made the right decision when I see his patients revere him so highly. It also helps that Dr. Ball and I share the same vision and goals in our approach to establishing a top tier clinic.
