Minoxidil and derma roller really works?

Hi guys I'm starting to experiment with treatments to recover lost hair. I'm 25 years old and currently at Norwood 3 after going to a somewhat cheap specialist I'm using Minoxidil and derma roller. My doubt is that I don't know how to use them efficiently. I've followed videos like this that explain a little bit, but not if it's right.
I would appreciate your experiences with these two products and their correct use. I have been using them for 2 months.

A derma roller and Minoxidil will come with instructions on how to use them. Depending on your scalp sensitivity or pain thresh hold simply roll the derma roller across your scalp applying pressure so the needles penetrate the skin, then apply the Minoxidil to the area.
It may work for you, it may not. You will have to try it to find out.
Both items are pretty cheap to purchase so you`re not going to lose much if it does not work for you.
