Oral minoxidil

Has anyone seen great results with oral minoxidil compared to the topical eg thickening of the hair ,I was taking it for about 8 months but I didn’t really see any improvement and thought I was just throwing money away. Would like to get people’s opinions on it thanks.

Don, remind me, did you stop taking the small does of Finasteride? It is possible the oral minoxidil is helping to maintain your hair if you feel you don't see any improvement.

Bri,I’m taking Finasteride 3x per week don’t seem to have any sides with that dose. It’s just expensive when you have to buy both just hoping the Finasteride will keep the hair I have without minoxidil.

I think you will be ok as you were on the reduced dose of Finasteride for a while before adding the oral.

I saw some good improvements with oral minoxidil in combination with finasteride. I am also taking a lower dose of finasteride. 0.5mg daily.
