I am 6 weeks post hair transplant surgery and there is still some recipient hairs growing on the hairline. About 65% has fallen, but not all. Will the hairs that have kept growing fall out, even at this late stage. If not, does that mean the transplanted hairs which have fallen won't grow back. If others have kept growing, then why haven't others?

It’s quite normal for some hairs to continue to grow. The hairs that have shed will grow back. It’s nothing to worry about.
The area still looks quite red. Are you applying anything for this?

Its strange. Some times certain photos of the area don't seem as red. I am applying minoxidil to that area and maybe that maybe why?

Yes, minoxidil can cause redness/inflammation. Did your clinic advise to use Minoxidil post surgery?
It does not look too bad in these pictures. Probably the lighting conditions.

They said minoxidil can speed up the growth period of the newly transplanted hair
