I think that regardless of what is on the website, if you were told in person that you were not a candidate then they did you a favor by not taking you as a patient. The reason being, they could easily have done so since you were looking to them to provide the service so turning you down is the right thing to do as it serves your best interests and not their own. While a caveat stating the facts about such issues on their website could have saved you some time I think each case should be evaluated independently and not in such a blanket fashion as "blondes are not candidates" because I think it is on a case by case basis.

Fred, I understand the let down that you felt but sometimes you have to realize that if something doesn't work out the way you hoped then it can actually be a good thing. No one NEEDS to have SMP nor does one NEED to have hair transplantation (unless they need a repair or to fix an injury) but the message take away is that you weren't harmed and a clinic that felt you were not a candidate told you so. I never look at such scenarios as a bad thing as it shows the clinic has ethics. I can name dozens of clinics that would not have been so up front. Remember, you can't be harmed by being turned down.

Were you turned down by this one clinic or were there others? You're in Brussels so I would imagine you consulted with multiple clinics, yes?
