Post-op

Please forgive this post, but I'm worried that I inadvertently mess things up post-op. I just want to run through the instructions to make sure I haven't misunderstood anything. Please correct me if I've made any mistakes or left anything out. Anyway, here goes:

Days 1-2
(i) Spray the donor & graft areas every 30 mins with water.
(ii) Don't touch the donor or graft areas.
(iii) Lie back (to reduce swelling).

Days 3-4
(i) Spray the donor & graft areas every 2-3 hours with water.
(ii) Don't touch the donor or graft areas

Days 5-14
(i) Shampoo the back & sides of the head.
(ii) Put shampoo in bowl of water & gently pour over the donor & graft areas. Rinse off by pouring cups of water over the donor & graft areas.
(iii) Don't touch the donor or graft areas.

Return to normal from day 15.

Update: although my head may increasingly resemble a light bulb, it has only just now switched on. It occurs that I have no idea how I am supposed to dry my scalp after shampooing, if I am to avoid touching it.

l had the transplant 3 days ago. l was told to spray the graft area every 30 minutes for 4 days while awake. and use baby shampoo once a day on the donor area, l was told on the 4th day after the session to use baby shampoo on the graft area by lathering the shampoo in my hand and gently putting it on the area and let it soak in to the scabs for 15 minutes . then using a spray or sponge with mild warm water rinse it off making sure not to use pressure. then with kitchen roll paper pat it on the area gently but not rubbing the grafts and thats it.

Your post-op instructions seem a little cautious but they do vary from clinic to clinic.
After washing your hair, gently pat/dab the towel on your head to dry. What dat post-op are you?
