Two people got left out. I guess that is how the cookie crumbles. I know ours is an easier and less time consuming case, but we still have hair loss. Or just because we have less hair loss that does not mean we do not deserve to have our problem corrected. I never won anything in my life so I was not expecting to win, but there just seems to be a lack of sensitivity.

please dont take this the wrong way but to be honest i think it was down to the poor quality pictures you posted dude it looked like imo the top three were in a far worse situation than you and therefore deserved this break more. They all have been suffering quitely for many years and had been actively participating in all the hairloss forums helping others for a considerable time,

that being said i hope you get some resolution to your situation in the future and its great to see you are gracious and supportive of the other three (shows great character) hope you stick around bro:)

hairloss what ever the degree sucks bigtime best wishes bullit

Maybe you could not tell by my picture, but I am not a bro. I know people equate hair loss with men so I can see why you thought I was male.

I do not know why my PM is disabled. I am used to sending PMs to others on other forums, but I have never been able to read or send PMs on this one.

This is incredibly generous of BHR. I am very impressed. I do hope and expect that the candidates will truly value what is being done for them and stick around to not only promote BHR as a world class clinic, but to aid others in need of information and guidance.

Just wanted to express my personal thanks and deep appreciation to all those (Mr. Moderator, men/women of the forum, BHR's Dr. Bisanga & Phil) who have made this moment possible/for making real the dream of the three bros who presently will be receiving life changing HT therapies at the hands of the giving hearts at BHR. To the unsuccessful contenders: never give up the quest, your time will come, there will be a way. To the ole HT guys: Continue your expressions/demonstrations of love to all those bros who are suffering from the effects of past misadventures. Many of the bros are in need of mental, emotional, and yes, even spiritual help. Be an A buddy.

So when is the first surgery scheduled? Any updates from the three candidates/winners who will be undergoing some revisions?

Curious as to who is going, and when. Can't wait to get pictures. Since all three are repair patients, its good to remember that all repairs are unpredictable, but beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder, you have to be a repair patient to fully understand the meaning of that last statement.

Good luck to all!......... /images/emoticons/th_15-3.gif...........getting better soon.........;)

One big one, financially speaking. Pro Bono would indeed be wonderful but I am paying the price on mine. It's a big hit that I'm currently trying to figure out how to pay for, but I will. I'm looking at about 3000 grafts, almost all body hair, in the repair.

However, the body hair will be nape hair and beard hair which is good as I think survivability decreases in body hair repairs the further you go from the scalp (just an observation of mine) and I believe the best yield, as far as growth, as the logic follows, would come the from nape and beard. I also have chest hair if it becomes necessary to use, but right now, 21K is alot of cash. Keep us posted when you have your repair planned, times a wastin'! (I plan on doing something this year)

Well that is excellent to hear! Good luck on the upcoming surgery, it is finally a financial break for those of us who spend a ton on trying to fix these surgeries, but more importantly, I hope you and the doctor will be able to hammer out something that you are both happy with when it grows in. As we know, repair is always "wait and see" type of scenario, keep us posted on your progress, it will be interesting to follow

I have lived like this long enough so there is no big rush,i would rather wait for the right time and prepare carefully for what exactly will be done.
