PRP causing accelerated hair loss

PRP is talked about quite a bit for helping to strengthen and regrow hair. Does it have the potential to cause accelerated hair loss? I`ve had 2 PRP treatments, my hair looks worse than before the treatments, there is more hair in the shower tray after washing, more on my pillow. Could this be due to the chemical imbalance in my scalp caused by the PRP?

How long after your PRP did you notice this? It can cause the hair to shed more aggressively which may be happening in your case. Have you contacted the clinic with your concerns?

My first PRP session was May, then I had another August. I noticed my hair looking like crap end of October. It's not getting any better.
I've not made contact with the clinic because they advised it would require three sessions over twelve months to see the results.
I will Shoot off an email to them today. With it being Christmas I'll wait until 2019 for a response.
