Thanks for sharing! =) How does the gene therapy play into this patient's treatment? Is it used as a diagnostic tool to find the underlying cause? Is it very expensive? Also, I noticed you put the patient on Minoxidal lotion. Does he have to be on that for the rest of his life?

It is not a diagnostic tool.
Most of the treatment is carried out by the patient at his/her home.
We use tablet Minoxidil as a "brute force" drug to push the blood supply towards the hair follicle. When the patient is taking healthy supplements instead of preservative laden foods, the result is improved.
