Can anyone recommend any clinics or surgeons?

I went to the HGC in UK they said i needed 4500 grafts which would be split over 2 days. 3000 GBP the cost with some free red laser light therapy. After talking i asked them who their best surgeon was and they said unofficially Dr Nayak in Romford and his team would be best for my size of work required. The HGC worry me as they seemed sales lead but Nayak seems to be the best of the bunch and his team from my own research

Ill be honest this is a optional thing for me, i really could live like this for ever but i liked having the option of hair even if i would grade 2 it off most of the time.

I dont mind paying more for better survival rates and quality of work. But given i need most of the crown, top and front doing i need major transplantation work. I also dont mind travelling if its worth it for better work or better value for money.

Any advice would be appreciated.

to be honest, pulled a 9/10 her brother hasnt much hair and neither her dad so maybe saved me a fortune

The price breaks down to 66p per graft. That is as cheap or cheaper than countries with a very low cost of living.
How is it possible to do surgery for this price?

You should think twice about surgery if you want to wear it very short. As you say you want to shave it down to Grade 2, it will most likely stand out. Your FUE scars at the back might show at Grade 2 aswell.

Transplanted hair in my opinion does not look very good short, since its never perfect angles and usually a little bit thicker because it is taken from the back at the safe zone which is the strongest part of all, specially in the front it looks pretty obvious at very short lengths since naturally it is very fine singles there.

The illusion of density which a hair transplant is, is achieved when wearing it longer, very short you can see that the density is less than your native hair, but when it grows it kind of mask the density difference to a extent.

This is good advice,

I dont think the technology is good enough right now and ive seen some very deceptive results on photos and videos. In reality it looks very thin and sparse and limited donor hairs seem to be the issue.

I might revisit the matter when the technology improves. At some point they will be able to grow follicles for implanting or maybe regenerate the ones already there which are inactive.

As someone who needs front, top and crown id rather not spend the rest of my life trying to maintain something that is a less than ideal restoration.

That is ridiculous cheap ! Be very careful

Maybe just shave or buzz your hair short as you may be ok with the look.
