Dear All
I have seen a few recent posts on this forum regarding chronic headaches resulting from hair transplants. It has been suggested the headaches arise from nerve damage.
Is this a common side effect or complication as I have not seen this before in my research. I would imagine the risk in the recipient area is minimal and the risk is greater in the donor area if you have FUT.
I would imagine that any surgery runs the risk of nerve damage if a HT can cause nerve damage. So any treatment such as a face lift could cause nerve damage and permanent headaches.
Is nerve damage something a good surgeon can avoid or is it just an unavoidable risk and sheer bad luck if it happens to you?
Regards
