Rogaine on Dyed hair

Does rogaine fade out the color in dyed hair? I know it says it's "safe" on dyed hair, just wondering if it would make the color fade faster because even normal shampoo is supposed to fade the dye faster.

I can say for certain but my gut says that it will certainly increase likelyhood of fading.

ya, thats what I thought. that sucks. does anyone know if the liquid form would be less harsh than the foam? I'm just assuming there's no alcohol in the liquid...

I believe the liquid is more harsh. It even has a stronger odor.

You could always try the 2% Minoxidil and gradually work up to the stronger stuff,this way you may notice a difference.

Generally speaking from experience,the just for men dye starts fading within 2 weeks and your roots will be showing.;ss;
