Last night i felt confident enought to actually style my hair before going out , this is the first time i have done this in Twenty years without worrying about scars, plugs ,mini grafts showing , no more blowing if forward to hide 4mm plugs , or growing it longer to hide scars , just bit product on the ends and out i went , a strange liberating experience , i will get some pictures up soon of the front and top as my repair has mainly been about the scars in the donor

Great to here your getting your life back in all aspects , their is nothing worse than been controlled by something you dont like about yourself , now its a upward journey , I cant imagine how some of you guys felt especially with repairs etc,All I can say your on a upward journey now and thats whats its all about keep going forward

am at nineteen months post op so uploaded a few pictures i took earlier today.

I still have hair breaking through the tissue at this stage approx 10 -20 hairs over the last couple of weeks

The tissue appears pinker and feels warmer, i think this is due to Dr Bisangas approach of low density grafting to establish blood supply and possibly add more grafts later , however i dont really worry about this anymore as its like having a twenty year weight removed from my shoulders ! thanks to all at BHR

Hi ejj, I echo this, have a great Christmas.

Your growth is coming in well and also the tissue looks better quality also as more blood has come there and you said it feels also warmer to touch when we have spoken.

I know on the phone you said you are still getting growth from the first surgery some 20 months ago and this can happen especially in scar tissue.
