Hey everybody,
SMG is excited to announce that we are traveling to Italy again to study more advanced Tricopigmentation (Temporary SMP) techniques with Beauty Medical in Milan from December 15-18. We are looking to coordinate schedules with one patient who is interested in helping us with this advanced Tricopigmentation (Temporary SMP) case study. Because this procedure will be part of a training session it will be no cost, and you will only be responsible for your traveling expenses.
The specific day we would be working on the model would be Dec. 17[sup]th[/sup] €“ 18[sup]th[/sup]. Unfortunately, because we are only in Italy for a short time these dates are not flexible. We have been cautiously researching, studying, and practicing Tricopigmentation (Temporary SMP) for approximately 2 years now and we are very excited to share this opportunity with you.
If you are interested in being a model you can email me directly [email protected] and we can discuss this opportunity more in detail. Please include your photo €™s (front, top, back). We want to be very upfront and have you understand that Tricopigmentation (Temporary SMP)is a PROCESS and 1 session can not necessarily guarantee a desired outcome. Often a second or third visit is needed to obtain the density desired. The patient that volunteers need to know he may need these two extra visits. SMG would cover part of the cost of these next two visits. So if someone was thinking of doing this SMP procedure already this may be a good opportunity for them

:) Nicole

Very generous offer Nicole. How large or small will the procedure be that SMG are offering?

Hi SMP,
Good Questions! No procedure limitations apply! As far as touch-ups go, we understand that geography may play a part in that decision! So, SMG will cover the costs of 1 touch-up with either Beauty Medical or SMG. But, patient will be responsible for their own travel costs.
I hope this adds some more clarity!
:) Nicole

Hi Nicole, has anyone taken you up on this offer? If so It would be of great interest if you were able to video the procedure.

Hi SMP, I apologize for my delayed response. Yes, we have selected someone to come to Italy to do some advanced training with us. And, we are working on trying to fit in a second patient actually! :) I am hoping that both of these patients will be open to full disclosure so we can share their journey with you all! I'll keep you updated.
Another of our goals is to come back with some solid new updated trichopigmentation information to share with you all. So if any of you have questions. Post them here!!! I'll do my best to get them all answered and update you when I get back! (After Dec 25th) If you follow this thread, even if I can answer them I am going to wait to respond so I can compare our current knowledge with Milena. So STAY PATIENT!

Hey Nicole. That'll be excellent if the patients give you the green light to fully document the procedure. I'll await your next update.

Hi everyone,

The patient that we worked on in Italy chose to do an SMP thickening procedure. He will be traveling to SMG in March for a touch-up. I will post his photos at that time. We do not want to post the immediate post op photos because so much residual pigment is still in the hair and on the scalp that I don't think it gives a true impression of the results of SMP. Because of all the excess pigment on the scalp the immediate post op photos look very exaggerated. The healed photo is a better representation.

Talk to you on this thread in March!

Okay so why not have the patient submit a photo 2-3 weeks post procedure. Sorry but it's a valid question and somebody needs to ask it.
