In part 5 of my hair transplant documentary series featuring Shapiro Medical Group we see Dr. Ron making incisions to create a signature Shapiro hairline. For years, while working for other clinics, I would hear about, and occasionally see for myself, a hairline created by Dr. Ron and now I got to see how he does it. It comes down to, in a word, "instinct". We also get to see part of their system for graft identification and overall care and Dr. David "Dr. Joe" Josephitis gets busy using their WAW motorized FUE system.

Good video. It's great seeing Dr Ron creating a natural hairline, so many doctors have benefitted from his teachings.

Why does the doctor insert the long needle into the hairline, then switch to the blade?

Great video Joe thanks for sharing, it's awesome seeing SMG'S work up close on video.

Dr Ron is one of the most talented surgeon's out there (as are the others at SMG) but one of the best things about them is they are so caring and willing to share their techniques with others.....that to me shows true professionalism.
