SMP - How effective is it?

There are other applications that I have seen that worked using SMP. A Strip scar cover up, an old large punch plug extraction, and/or recently... anyone that received an FUE where the punch was greater than 1.0mm; seems to be useful using smp. However again there has to be specific situations for this. Skin color, hair color, whomever is performing the smp, etc., etc... many many variables play a role in this.

Hairtech.. If any patients who`ve undergone some form of SMP visit your clinic would you ask them if you can take some shots? then post them here.

Yes the patient that I posted above is a person that had an SMP done.

I heard back from the bella medical from milan today,the email i got back was in italian,i used google translate,i am presuming they did too with mine..it wasnt melina it was from someone else at the clinic.It was 600 euro to do my fue scars so i think that is cheap,flight with ryan air about 100 quid so all in all we'll say its a 1000euro trip probably once a year.

They did mention in the eamail i would need 2 or 3 sessions ten days apart that i cant do,i will prob stay for 3-4 days and see what she can do in that time.

I wonder why it is two or three sessions 10 days apart?

I cant think of a reason other than the fact its scar tissue??

Yea i dont see why they cant do it in one session.

Three sessions puts a whole new perspective on the cost of the procedure when factoring in travel, accommodation, time off work and general living expenses.

I think a one day procedure plus the follwing day touch up procedure will still produce a good result,i think the 3 session thing might for people from italy who can make the trip 3 times

3 times still seems a lot even if you`re local, have you any idea what the biggest case is they do, ie 2000 to mimic 2000 grafts.

ya the local place here does entire scalps in one day. I hear it is extremely painful.

Sesions 2 and 3 could be full scalp touch up for some areas,i read on another forum that it is a two day procedure,a few hours on day 1 and a small possible touch up on day 2.

I will update when i get it done,i will be staying for 3-4 days!
