Ive looked at every page on this site and all the videos on utube - ive also been to Birmingham at an open day and met guys who have had it done - looks awesome even up close , soon as I get the money I will be giving it a try - ( thats after 3 failed fue s )
All I ever wanted was the "his" look in the 1st place ,wish I hadnt wasted a fortune at DHI .

How many people did you see at the open day who had this done David? was there any procedures that had been done over 12 months ago on display?......if so had the colour changed?

There were a couple there that had it done over a year ago and granted they were staff and a few who had been treated in the last 6 months - the longest anyone has been treated is about 10 yrs and that is the owner and Guinea pig Ian Watson ( he has just had his hairline lazered off and redone in a more natuaral shape).
They have a forum like this (I post under David 1963) and they do get guys posting that they are unhappy with the result - then they get more treatments and it gets fixed - it is worth following "his" for a few weeks I was very impressed - as long as you understand it is only a 2d illusion and not real hair .
As Mr Rooney found out even spending £ 30,000 does not mean a hair-transplant will last , it will be intresting to see if he now has Scalp pigmentation as I know he is aware of it as his own hair stylist (Daniel J ) Is one of the "his" clients that is featured in the website and also ex teamate Quintin Fortune is the Black guy on front of the website .
I think the best ones ive seen done are those who have gone for a more receaded look becouse I believe the ones that opt for a low square hairline look fake . If you are in the high Norwoods and suit the shaved look I believe this is the best option.
If you go on the "his" forum look up the comments by a guy called "Hating Hats" - he started off as a client but now advises "his" as his full-time job means he can answer all your questions about fading and literaly any technical questions .

Hi David.
I think the temporary SMP may be a viable option for you, this way if you dont like it you are not stuck with it. This is of course that it does what its suppose to.

Not intrested in any version apart from the permanent by "His" if it goes wrong I can get it removed by laser , as ive just been unemployed for a year im skint so got to save for a while ( costs £ 3,000 ) .

Think for myself its the only viable option - gives the look/illusion that im after at a fraction of Rooneys failed transplant (and my 3 failed transplants). If I ever gets the funds to do this I will post the story on here for all to see .Im always going to be sceptical of any proceadure becouse of what ive been through but I recomend anyone to look at the "his" website/forum and only they have loads of video s on you tube - worth a look anyway .

As a fellow unhappy dhu ex patient i too have been looking into smp but for donor area only..i have seen alot of smp and his do look good however there hairlines are not good and there is some chance it will change colour,you may also get this done and realise i dont like this so i would strongly reccomnend getting the temperory smp done first just to see if you like it and then have a think about whether the permanent smp and its risks is worth getting.
Have you donor scarring from dhi?if so could you post a pic?

Also removing it by laser is not a guarentee and not as easy as you think,it could damage skin and existing hair .

Hi Mars - no I dont really have any DHI scarring unless you look to close then its just the dots . I have always only just wanted the "his" look anyway and keep the few remaining bits of stubble on the top of my head shaved without the guard and the back/sides shaved to the board like I shave my chin every day .
As Im getting on a bit (50 next year) and im short of cash this is my last throw of the dice and my last chance of getting a life so cannot afford temp smp first , Im happy if I can get "his" to do my head but will opt for the receaded look .
Some of there hairlines look aweful but that is what the clients have asked for , you choose the hairline/density etc . I am sure "his" can do what im after and beats the heck out of DHI.

The fact is regardless if those awful hairlines were the customer s choice what ethical businessman would give it to them. I certainly would not and maybe I wouldn t be in business very long so be it but it should tell you all you need to know about them. I would also be embarrassed calling myself a doctor and at the same time be tattooing people s heads by way of SMP.
There was a place in Pittsburgh that was doing hair transplants back in the 90's but they also offered wigs. I thought to myself well if they are also in the wig business how good can the hair transplants possibly be. Hey sometimes I was right.

The Scalp pigmentation at His is not done by a Dr its just basicaly a tattoo artist , the system has evolved over the last few years and the clients now seem to be moving away from ultra-low hairlines , even the Owner Ian has had his harsh low hairline removed and replaced with a more receaded /broken one which looks in pictures to be 10 times better .
As with all transplants etc research should allways be done and the "his" look would not be for everyone but thats the look ive been after for 30 yrs - I do have some concerns as in my 3 transplants I bled a lot (and the DHI "Doctor" shouted for Lorrainne the rep as he didnt know what to do !!!) .
Ive hidden away from the world and had hardly any social life for 30 yrs as I find it hard to even look in a mirror - it is my hope to gain the appearence of hair so I can at least sample a couple of yrs of social life as inside im just dead .
I cannot understand how any transplant Doc can brag about carrying out transplants for 30 yrs cos they were just money chasing butchers .
One thing I liked about "his" was the amount of evidence both on the website , facebook and lots of video s on you tube - also the forum which does not delete articles from guys who when they start off are not happy with either the look or service or whatever , you can follow the posts as the problems/complaints are resolved and as regards to tech questions as I said in an earlier post ,check out the history of Hating Hats as he knows his stuff .

SMP - Only reason not had it done yet is ive no money - when I do go ahead I will document it on here with pics - you should join the "his" forum as well and just follow that for a while , im sure it would answer a lot of your questions - look up the history of messages from a guy called " hating hats" as he is very knowledgable . - keep us updated and let me know the name u use on His forum .

Thats great Bigmac , smp/mht/scalp pigmentation is looking a genuine option to those of us n/w 5/6/7 out there so the more info the better , well done .
