It looks like a natural receded hairline., not aggressive at all. I think he will be happy with this.

Thanks SMP! His wife was actually very trepidatious about him having SMP done and they were both very pleased with the results.

That looks like nice work, really like the hairline.
My only criticism is that with his amount of hairloss there's no way he can get away with buzz cut length hair. The contrast between his smooth bald SMP area and the surrounding 3D hair would be too much. It looks good now while the ink is fresh as there will be tiny scabs on each dot giving it a slight 3D effect but I bet once that settles after a few weeks he needs to shave it right down. I still think it will look great when he does though!

I'm glad you like the hairline. I really enjoy working with a client designing hairlines that meet their approval and look natural. It's very satisfying too when the client sees a hairline shape re-emerge!
This particular client shaves his head almost daily, and I did advise him that for the SMP to blend properly with his existing hair he would need to shave down even closer (he was buzzing with a 1 guard). After the first pass he realized this too and was happy to do so in order to maintain the look.
As far as scabbing, our needle causes almost no external bleeding as it only penetrates at .05mm so the 3-D scab effect doesn't really happen post treatment and no scabs were present when those pictures were taken. But it is important for potential SMP clients to understand that in order for existing hair and SMP to look most natural the hair must appear like stubble, too.
