SMP to soften Plugs and Scarring

In this example the patient suffered from Major linear scarring and plug grafting.
His donor is in bad shape, the balding area just too large to use hair transplantation.

It was decided to use SMP to soften the plugs and the scarring.

This is like going from an impossible situation to an acceptable solution.

Please note that often the after pictures are taken just after a procedure. Therefore the skin is still irritated and red. Unlike with hair restoration there are is no swelling and usually the redness fades after just 2-5 days (for guys like myself with very pale skin it may take longer).

The plugs look to be concealed, however in the after picture the patient has his head tilted backwards so the scar is not visible. A same angled picture is required to compare the scar.

Do you recommend a patient gets Fraxel first before the SMP if they have scarring or is the SMP good enough to conceal scarring on its own......within reason obviously?
