Soon to take the plunge...need to decide Civas, Doganay or Demirsoy

Hi everyone,
After suffering hairloss for around 10 years andnow hitting the age of 32 I have decided to take the plunge and will soon be booking FUE HT. I have narrowed it down to Civas, Doganay and Demirsoy and from those who have replied they have suggested I will need 3-3500 grafts.
I had a question about Dr Demirsoy. I have read Clemens Weber mainly handles things with the healthtravels company but when you google Dr Demirsoy there is another company also claiming to be his representatives called TRHTS? Can anybody shed some light on this? I ask as I sent emails to all 3 on saturday and Dr Civas and Dr Doganay have come back but I am still yet to her from Demirsoys side apart from an auto response from Clemens.
Also any other bits of advice or recommendations for any of these 3 dr's will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You could pm a member named Jessop on here, he is in the process or already has been to Demirsoy. I don't know anything about the doctor though. You could also look at Joe Tillmans video on travelling to Turkey.
Dr Civas has a few results in his section which look good, Dr Doganay has a lot of results in his section and a few members sharing their story in the patient section.

Have you a picture you could post.

Hope that helps.

Hi Frankie. Clemens Weber does deal with all Dr Demirsoy's patients. I was with him a couple of weeks ago and my procedure looks good at the minute. I think Dr Demirsoy went on holiday on the 11th of July so the whole team might be off at the minute.

Thanks for the help Bigmac. I have uploaded a couple of pics. Jessop, thanksfor your input, I thought that may have been the case and Clemens has just got back to me. Jessop how was your experience? Also is his surgery close to the touristy area of istanbul? Only reason I ask is as Im probably going to stay a few extra days after the op hopefully until the scabs subside.

Crown pic. Main focus would be on the front

The amount of grafts quoted seems about right. Are you going to have some in the crown.

Yes ideally also have the crown filled a little.I was told in my initial forum post a few months ago that grafts in the 3000 range were not recommended as it could lead to potential loss in the donor area but it seems many many people have similar if not larger size HT procedures

The debate is still out there regarding fue mega sessions, some docs feel it's ok whilst others don`t.
Best to view results, get patients opinions and if possible meet some patients.

Hi Frankie. My experience was good with Dr Demirsoy. His clinic is on the Asian side of the city with not much near it to be honest. Best staying on the European side then stay in a hotel near the clinic the night before and night of the procedure. The clinic offer a hotel and airport transfer deal. You will be collected from your hotel on the morning of the procedure and brought back after. I'd imagine you'll just want to rest that night. You'll also be collected the next day to get your first hair wash in the clinic.

Istanbul is huge. 14-16 million people live there. There's so much to see. I was a bit worried about banging my head after the procedure so didn't do a lot for 2 days after it.

I think they always give their patients a cd with before and after photos from different angles and photos of the grafts.

Hi guys just a quick update, I went to see Dr Civas on monday and had my FUE done - 3200 grafts. Overall the experience so far has been very positive and Dr Civas and everybody at the clinic have been extremely helpful, accommodating and pleasant. I'll keep you guys updated with pics over the coming months in a seperate thread.
