Strip Scar Question

Does anyone know at what stage the skin is back to its pre op state, or to put it more directly: when is the scar no longer at risk of stretching? Mine is still slightly tight and I want to go back to exercising (I am 4 weeks post op) but don't want to risk any damage.

You can start getting back to working out the same as pre HT at 3 months. Sooner for many.

I would say 3 months is pretty safe to go back to normal exercises and as Leeson says it can take up to 12 months to fully return to normal.

Patients heal differently,some faster than others.
