Hi and welcome.

Having sutures or staples removed is easy and only a minor discomfort at most.As in the video it only takes a few minutes.Most doctors seem to advise that you should get them removed between 7 and 10 days.Its a good idea to have a long soak in the bath/shower an hour prior to having them removed to soften any scabs etc that may be remaining, i don`t think there is any need for pain meds to be taken unless you have a very low pain tolerance.

I had my sutures removed at 10 days, not a problem.

Thankyou Bigmac, I prefer the thought of sutures as staples will press into the scalp if pressure is applied due to the weight of your head on pillow.

If you live in the UK drop in centres will usually remove them
Free Of charge and when I went they were polite kind and very intrigued by the whole thing.

Daredevil*nl its a piece of cake and should not be feared by anyone as its probably the easiest part of a HT
