Hello guys
I have recently had a FUE procedure at the Maitland Clinic and decided to post about it on here. Maybe i can help someone else out the way this forum has helped me! I chose The Maitland Clinic because of the things i read on here..mostly about Dr Ball and Janna who are regarded very highly, they really are brilliant at what they do.
I am 30 years old and i followed this website for at least 3 years..reading and doing my research. To be honest i was obsessed checking a few times a week, because losing my hair really did take a hit on my confidence.
Anyway following the website i came across a few guys that had been to The Maitland Clinic. So i decided to meet with David Anderson for a consultation, we had a chat about my situation he gave me a good idea of what i could expect and was really reassuring that i was a good candidate for a FUE. Thanks David for everything you did!
I decided i would get the hair transplant done..i was seriously nervous, thinking about if it was to go wrong..and all the other things you can think in that moment. Anyway i now know its the best decision i have made and is going to change my life.. i am 16 days post op now and already feel so happy. If i have to go a again in the future i would go straight away.
So i met with Dr Ball before the op..straight away was easy to talk with and really understanding and he spent a good amount of time with me..designing my hairline which i wanted to be conservative.
So back for the procedure..turned up about 8am..met the first member of the team for that day..i wont say names but thank you for your reassurance S!
Met the other two girls H + S, Dr Ball and Janna..then they just did there thing..was a long day but i actually enjoyed it..good atmosphere and music, no pain for me really maybe a little sting on the numbing injections at the start. But thank you to all the team you all made me feel at ease and are awesome!
Finished the op around 7 and i got a lift home..i didn't drive but i felt absolutely fine, honestly like i hadn't had anything done.
Okay so i am going to post a few pictures when Janna sends me them of pre op then i will post the ones i have taken up to now..if anybody has anything to ask me if i have not mentioned something you want to know just ask!
I know its early days for me and i have to look forward to the shedding and ugly duck phase but i don't care..the potential for what i am seeing now just makes me exciting for the future!
Massive thanks to everyone at The Maitland Clinic!
